Health and Fitness Month at the Embassy

April 15 to May 17 is “Health and Fitness” month at the Embassy.  As you know, I’m an avid runner and big proponent of keeping physically fit!  This month we organized a variety of events for Tunisian and American employees at the Embassy and their families – including running, biking, walking, pilates, aerobics, yoga, salsa dancing and tai-chi.  We also organized some team sports – including a fun office volleyball tournament (pictured here).  I urge you all to participate in sports events whenever you have the chance, whether it be strolling around your neighborhood or getting a daily workout at the gym.  It was great to see lots of the folks from our community participating in this month’s activities – I’d like to think of every month as fitness month!
